On the 13th December 2025, SEPAR International was proud to team up with colleagues from Reuters to take on the formidable Fladbegg Challenge, raising an incredible £1,520 for the Rory Peck Trust.
This demanding endurance challenge brought together teamwork, resilience and a shared commitment to supporting freelance journalists and their families.
The challenge included a 1-mile swim, a 55-mile cycle from Hereford to Brecon, and a 5-mile hike up Pen y Fan🏊🚴🥾
Supporting Freelance Journalists Worldwide
The funds raised will directly support the vital work of the Rory Peck Trust, which provides practical and financial assistance to freelance journalists and their families around the world. Freelancers often work in high-risk and challenging environments without the safety nets available to staff reporters. The Trust’s work ensures they are not facing those risks alone.
