At SEPAR, we recognise that the nature of our work often requires global mobility and complex logistical support. By partnering with Carbon Neutral Britain, the UK’s leading carbon offsetting initiative, we are taking concrete action to reduce our environmental impact. Our certification ensures that the emissions we generate are fully offset through independently validated, AAA-rated projects that deliver long-lasting climate benefits.
Supporting Renewable Energy Around the World
Through Carbon Neutral Britain’s Climate Fund™ portfolio, SEPAR contributes to carefully selected projects aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Two of the key projects we are proud to support include:
- Salkhit Wind Farm – Mongolia
As the first grid-connected wind farm in Mongolia, Salkhit is a pioneering development in a country where more than 90% of energy is generated from fossil fuels. The project supplies 168.5 GWh of clean electricity annually, offsetting 178,778 tonnes of CO₂e each year. Beyond reducing emissions, Salkhit is building the technical expertise needed to expand renewable energy across Mongolia, even in one of the world’s harshest climates, where temperatures range from –50°C to 50°C.
- Wind Power in Karnataka – India
Located in southern India, this large-scale wind project generates renewable electricity for the Karnataka state grid, displacing fossil fuel-based generation. Alongside significant emissions reductions, the project delivers important social and economic benefits. It has created around 2,000 jobs during construction and operation, reduced strain on freshwater resources, and fostered further investment and innovation in wind energy technology across the region.
In addition to these projects, SEPAR also supports other high-quality renewable energy initiatives within Carbon Neutral Britain’s Climate Fund™ portfolio, ensuring that our contributions have the widest possible impact across both climate and community goals.
Our Ongoing Commitment

SEPAR International is actively reviewing ways to reduce emissions at source, from more efficient travel and operations planning to sustainable procurement practices.
