Rescuing a Patient

3-day First Aid at Work 

This training course, which conforms with HSE guidance, provides a comprehensive set of practical skills first aiders need in most workplaces. This gives both the ability and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies. It meets the standards required to help comply with Health and Safety (First aid) regulations. 
This course is designed for those working in high occupancy environments, such as building sites or warehouses with high capacity of staff and visitors. 
The following topics are covered in a First Aid at Work course;
Adult resuscitation (CPR), allergic reaction, asthma, bone, muscle and joint injuries, burns and scalds, chest pains, choking adult, communication and casualty care, eye injuries, fainting, head injuries, defibrillator prompts and how to respond, low blood sugar, managing an emergency, minor and severe bleeding, poisons and what to do if someone has been poisoned, the role of the first aider (including knowledge of health and safety regulations), seizures, shock, spinal injuries, stroke, and unresponsive adults.

First Aid Kit

Hostile Environment First Aid Training (HEFAT)

Hostile environment and medical training for working in hostile and complex environments.
This high-risk environment course is similar to our HEAT course with a bigger focus on trauma emergencies. This is aimed at individuals and companies that travel to conflict and high-risk areas where the risk of dealing with casualties is increased. We cover; how to use improvised and purpose made medical equipment, initial actions to a trauma casualty situation, casualty care, primary survey, secondary survey, tourniquet and haemostats use, CPR, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use, vehicle casualty extraction, triage, and other medical emergencies. 
Ideal for Media organisations and production companies. 

Security Guard

Security Awareness Fragile Environments (SAFE)

In an ever-evolving world, risks and threats constantly pose a challenge to us. There is a need to be constantly vigilant and always be one step ahead of the threat. That threat is multi-dimensional and can present itself when we least expect it. Our best defence is to plan, be prepared, and constantly prevailing to mitigate that risk. We can help avoid this threat by delivering training that will provide solutions and confidence to yourself, or your staff. 
This course is aimed at people who travel due to business and/or need to provide a duty of care to their employees. Liability, and litigation should be at the forefront of the concerns of any business that sends employees overseas. This course would also benefit individual frequent travellers to make them feel safer when overseas.
This scenario led course was designed to give UK Government personnel pre-deployment training prior to taking an overseas posting in a fragile or complex environment. Whether the threat is terrorism or crime, this 4-day course has enough information and training to provide peace of mind, confidence, and self-protection.
We cover; individual security plans, using public transport safely, hotel security, decision making models, situational awareness, cultural/gender/LBGTQ considerations, female/lone traveller, radio comms, self-defence and conflict resolution, navigation, medical training, grab bags, travel tips, journey management, crime mitigation, drink tampering, the terrorist threat, and much more.
Previous clients for this training have been UK Government agencies and departments, law enforcement departments such as the Metropolitan Police and the National Crime Agency (NCA), Defence, Media, and NGOs/Aid workers. Delivered in Whitehall and the Home Office to UK Embassy staff, UK Border Force, Diplomats, and their spouses posted in fragile environments such as Nigeria, Ethiopia, Tunisia, Algeria, Sudan, South Sudan, Ukraine, and Qatar.

1 day  Emergency First Aid at Work

This one-day course will help you meet your regulatory requirements if your risk assessment indicates that first aid training covering emergency protocols only is sufficient for your workplace.
This course is designed for people who want to receive training in emergency first aid. It is especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low-risk working environments, such as small offices. The course covers first aid protocols for adult casualties only.
This course provides basic lifesaving first aid skills and knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations, covering: adult resuscitation (CPR), burns and scalds, choking adults, communication and casualty care, defibrillator prompts, pad placement, and how to respond, minor and severe bleeding, role of the first aider (including knowledge of health and safety regulations), seizures, shock and unresponsive adult.

Day Care Center

1 day and 2-day Paediatrics for Children and Babies’  Level 3

These courses are for people working with young children and those working towards an early-year’s educator qualification. This includes:

  • people working in day nurseries;

  • people working in private nursery schools;

  • people working in pre-schools;

  • people working in before and after school clubs for children in the; early years age group;

  • childminders;

  • carers of children at home.

This course covers:

  • Child and baby CPR, AED, primary survey, secondary survey, choking, burns, head injuries, poisons, and other emergencies.

  • Our courses are fully certificated, and we can also supply first aid kits/trauma packs for your workplace or home. These kits are I-FAK (individual first aid kits) and T-FAK (team first aid kits).

Paramedic

First Response Emergency Care (Level 3 RQF)

QUALSAFE First Response Emergency Care (Level 3 RQF) covers the full range of skills required by the HSE for first aid and for those with further ambitions, it also forms the first step of a program to become a paramedic in 2 years.
Over 5 Days, you will fulfill the competencies set out in the PHEM skills framework, gaining the knowledge and practical skills needed to deal with a range of prehospital emergency care situations. A perfect fit for those looking to work or volunteer as a first responder. Among the first to arrive at the scene, first responders typically include law enforcement officers, firefighters, and those providing medical cover at events, as well as those working in high-risk environments including the military, National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) sites, agriculture, and manufacturing.
Roles and responsibilities of pre-hospital care providers, incident assessment and control, casualty assessment, catastrophic Bleeding, airway management, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), medical gases, trauma, trauma (muscular-skeletal), trauma (thoracic), medical conditions, environmental conditions, and the human body.

Catastrophic Bleeding Control  3-hour Course

This course provides learners with guidance on catastrophic bleeding control, including dealing with the inherent dangers associated with the use of tourniquets and haemostatic dressings whilst administering First Aid in a high-risk working environment.
A range of subjects are covered including:
Equipment, primary survey, catastrophic bleeding, haemostatic dressings, tourniquets, top-to-toe survey, environmental issues, handover to the emergency services.
Although there is no formal assessment, the trainer will assess each individual throughout the course and issue a certificate of attendance. There is no expiry date on the certificate as it is attendance only, however, we recommend that you attend this course every 3 years to refresh your skills.
We can deliver this course at our training venue or at your site, subject to a pre-course assessment of your premises, reducing your costs in respect of additional time out and travelling.
Bleed control packs can be provided.
There are many ways for a catastrophic bleed to occur, such as from a car accident or a work-related injury. We believe that having relevant training and publicly accessible bleeding control packs in all major shopping centres, pubs/clubs, public transport stations and all public spaces is vital to provide the necessary first aid to reduce blood loss and keep a casualty alive until professional medical help arrives.

Mental Health First Aid Level 1, Level 2, Level 3

Mental Health First Aid Level 1
This qualification teaches delegates to be workplace Mental Health First Aiders, who will be able to recognize the signs and symptoms of common workplace mental health issues and know how to guide a person towards the right mental health support effectively.
Mental health first aid level 2
This 6-hour qualification provides learners with the knowledge to recognize a range of mental health conditions, how to start a supportive conversation, and when and how to signpost a person to seek appropriate professional help.
Mental health first aid level 3
Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace (RQF) is an accredited 2-day course designed to provide individuals with the ability to reduce the incidence of workplace mental ill-health by promoting a positive working environment, reducing the stigma surrounding mental health aimed at supervisors.

Counter Terrorism Awareness Training

The terrorism threat is multi-dimensional and can present itself when we least expect it. Our best defense is to be prepared, protected, and vigilant.
We can mitigate against this threat by learning how to avoid it or how to survive it.
Our previous clients include the UK government, law enforcement, and defense staff as well as corporate clients and individuals.
Our 3-day course is a mixture of classroom learning, group activity, and practical scenarios culminating in a final incident management exercise.

Self-defence and Personal Security Training

Self-defence and personal safety and security awareness to female travellers, lone workers, women’s refugees, the LGBQT community and charities. This course has also been delivered to government personnel in the UK and overseas to female embassy staff and NGOs.
This course covers;
Situational awareness, cooper colour code, personal safety, safe journey management, taxi, public transport, walking, drink tampering, suspicious activity, home security, employ your day-to-day routine, predator behavioural traits, conflict management/conflict resolution, gender and LGBT+ safety, sexual harassment, impact factors, fear response, de-escalation strategies, signs of escalation, communication, Betaris box, ego states, the law and use of force, human rights, steps to violence, reactionary gap, removal from dangerous situations, multiple attackers, knife attack theory, objects as defensive weapons and knife defence, practical self-defence covering releases, disengagement, striking and ground defence.

Travel Safety Training 

The course aims to develop your understanding and awareness to keep you safe when traveling overseas. To introduce you to, or increase your knowledge, understanding, and awareness of decision-making and security planning, situational awareness of threats, dilemmas, risks, and crimes that you may encounter, personal and group security in a variety of environments, First Aid, dealing with conflict and self-defense, terrorism threat, drink tampering, how to protect luggage and personal possessions, what to carry overseas, journey management; including safe public transport use, and hotel security.

Critical Incident Response Training

This course is designed for security personnel to gain relevant knowledge and upskill themselves in critical response and incident management, allowing a more confident and knowledgeable security officer.

This course was designed to give nannies and other household staff an increased level of safety and security awareness and knowledge to be able to offer the best service to their client as they can. A course designed for school teachers, academia, universities, colleges, and students, this course provides training to make staff/students/pupils living and workspace as safe as possible and helps individuals to deal with; possible threats, vulnerabilities, site security survey, the response, dealing with conflict, self-defense, edged weapon awareness, trauma first aid emphasizing catastrophic bleed control. Loss of Liberty Course

This one-day course was designed to help the UK government and other agencies before taking an overseas posting in a fragile or complex environment protect themselves against kidnap and ransom, being arrested overseas, express kidnapping, bribery, payday kidnapping, and carjacking. The course has been overseen by UK agencies tasked with negotiations in loss of liberty incidents. Ideal for insurance companies as well as personnel traveling overseas.
