SEPAR Community Foundation fundraises in Hereford for Nairobi orphanage playground.

At the weekend team SEPAR held a fundraiser in Hereford!

Many of our UK team and families are travelling to meet up with our Kenyan team in October. We will rebuild the playground at the Nyumbani Orphanage in Nairobi, Kenya for children affected by HIV and Aids.

We held a pre loved sale; a raffle sale; cake sale; jumble sale and cuddle the dog for 10p was the most popular stall by far. Thanks to Brooke the black labrador.

A fantastic £1035.22 was raised! Unsold items were donated to a Ukrainian charity so team work resulted in a great result all round.

The Nyumbani Orphanage is very close to our hearts and the SEPAR Community Foundation has been founded to lend formal charitable status to our endeavours. Headed up by Molly Smith our charity co-ordinator (pictured with Brooke), our ethos is to support global causes, such as those afflicted by war, poverty and disease.
