Job Description: Global Operations Manager
Reporting to: CEO SEPAR International
Location: Hereford HQ.
Hours: 48 hours per week: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday within the office; 8 further supervisory/monitoring hours. Some work outside of these hours is required
About the role:
The Global Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational requirements of their headquarters in Hereford in line with contractual obligations and provide subject matter expertise, support and guidance to all parties within their remit. The Global Operations Manager will build strong and effective relationships with the client management team, the operations team, department leads and staff reporting directly to the Chief of Staff. This individual will lead, inspire and motivate their team to provide excellence and continuously look for innovation and ways of improving operations.
Key Responsibilities:
In cooperation with Senior management, direct the development of an effective strategy to mitigate risk, maintain continuity of operations and safeguard the organisation.
Direct domestic and international staff in identifying, developing, implementing and maintaining security processes, practices and policies throughout the organisation to reduce risks.
Respond to incidents and work to reduce the exposure and liability in all areas of information, financial, physical and reputation risk.
Research & deploy security solutions to safeguard the organisation’s assets.
Develop relationships with clients; security agencies and private sector counterparts worldwide.
Coordinates and implements site security, operations and activities to ensure the protection of staff overseas.
Key functions:
Provide coordination of security planning for staff globally & Security Risk Managers working overseas.
Offer support to country offices to ensure best practice security measures and procedures are being implemented.
Identify policies and programmes requiring operational improvement.
Work with colleagues to produce threat and risk assessments and the development of comprehensive country security plans and appropriate SOPs and contingency plans.
