Colin is an experienced trainer and facilitator in the corporate security world, bringing an enthusiastic, motivated and experience led attitude to training, delivering subject matter knowledge and experience, instilling skills within leadership, personal safety, and security operations. specialising in training people to understand their capabilities in the context of safety, emergencies, and high risk situations and locations.

As a former Royal Marine Commando with a multi-disciplined skill set including sniper, reconnaissance leader, weapon and tactic instructor, Royal Marine recruit instructor within the commando training wing and special weapons escort team commander and trainer, followed by operational, planning and training assignments within the security industry that includes high risk and hostile environments experience and carrying out executive protection operations for foreign and domestic HNWI, Middle east royalty, media Security and high profile sporting events more recently providing diplomatic close protection to FCDO at the British embassy in Baghdad.

Colin is a military tactics and firearms instructor training various foreign nations specialist armed forces and police services in incident management, VIP protection, Incident command and control, advanced tactical weapon handling including sniper training and various advanced military skills, also including hostile environment close protection training. Until recently he was Lead instructor delivering pre- deployment hostile environment awareness training for the foreign commonwealth and development office staff deploying to fragile and complex environments, this also included staff from other government and police agencies, also as a freelance overseas security trainer to the FCDO and deployed to UK embassies throughout Africa and the middle east to deliver safety and security training to diplomats and their spouses and locally engaged staff, also carrying out security briefings to ministers and government VIPs when on overseas visits to complex locations and delivering personal protection and self-defence to female embassy staff in the UK and overseas.
